Born in Istanbul, I'm Murat Han Varol, blending my interest in cinema-TV and philosophy into a career in filmmaking. With over 15 years behind the camera, I've navigated through the film and TV industry, creating documentaries and content for both Turkish national channels and international names like BBC, ARTE, NatGeo and so on.

 

      My work includes directing, shooting, and producing a mix of documentaries, news segments, and commercial projects.

       I take pride in my narrative style and camera skills, which have taken me around the world to tell stories through documentaries and news for various platforms.

 

        Beyond working for others, I'm deeply committed to my own film and documentary projects, often wearing the hats of both director and cinematographer. I'm handy with all sorts of filming gear, from traditional cameras to drones for aerial shots.

         Travelling is part of the job, and I'm all set with the necessary visas for it, including Schengen and the US.
